Morning Snow Slows Morning Commute; Multiple Crashes Reported

A light snowfall across Northwest Missouri Monday morning kept area law enforcement busy. Multiple crashes forced some big detours.

At 8 a.m. at on Interstate-29 at mile marker 42.6, a crash sent a St Joseph woman, Julie Eighmy, to Heartland with moderate injuries.

A crash north of the Fillmore exit on I-29 at about 9:20 a.m. sent an Overland Park man to Heartland.

Adam Repass-Orduna also suffered moderate injuries.

A head-on crash on US-169 north of Avenue City injured Cynthia Church of Savannah. She was taken to Heartland with moderate injuries.
