James, Kyle webKyle Alan James, 24, Burlington Jct. Missouri died Monday, March 25, 2013.

He was born May 11, 1988 in Maryville to Rodney and Denise Merrigan James.

He was a 2006 graduate of West Nodawy High School in Burlington Jct. and was employed with Farmer Frame and Auto in Quitman, as a paint and body worker.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Jim Merrigan, Larry James and Robert Drummond.

Survivors are his mother and step-father Denise and Donnie Drummond, Burlington Jct.; father and step-mother Rodney and Rhonda James, Maryville; Brother Jason (Roxy) James, Ravenwood; 4 step-sisters: Tiffany Shively, Brandi Shively and Nikkayla Schulte, Maryville and Shelly (Steven) Marriott, Clearmont; step-brother Nathan (Crissy) Drummond, Tarkio; grandmothers Bereneda James, Bethany, Rosalee Merrigan and Scharlene Drummond, both of Maryville and aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, March 28 at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.

Funeral Services will be 1:30 pm Friday, March 29, Price Funeral Home, Maryville.

Burial: Nodaway Memorial Gardens

Memorials may be directed to Price Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.

 

 

Jones Norland Geraldine webMrs. Geraldine Mae Norland Jones, age 83, Burlington, North Carolina, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Burlington Manor after several weeks of failing health.

Geraldine was born April 7, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Bruno and Margaret Eleanor Norland and was married for over 24 years to Harold Howard Jones, who died in 1970. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and retired from the Medical Center of Independence, Missouri. She was of the Methodist Faith.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Lynn Hale and her husband, Charles B., of Burlington, and a daughter-in-law, Sharon West and her husband, John of Belton, Missouri, niece Margaret Wade and her husband, Lance, and a nephew David Nickolaus and wife, Nancy. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son Gary B. Jones; two sisters, Clarice Caldwell and Marquerite McCauley; and five brothers, Morris Nordland, Franklin, Lloyd, Wayne, and Ethan Norland.

A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Nodaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Maryville, Missouri. The family will recieve friends from 5-7 PM, Friday evening, March 29, at the Price Funeral Home, Maryville.
