The Northwest Missouri State men’s tennis team beat Lindenwood 8-1 Wednesday afternoon in MIAA action.
The Bearcats improved to 8-3 on the season and snapped a brief two-game skid with the win.
Northwest won all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead heading into singles.
Sergio De Vilchez led the way at No. 1 singles with a 6-2, 6-2 victory for the Bearcats.
At No. 5 singles, Jason Harris stayed perfect on the season with a 6-4, 6-5 victory.
Northwest will travel to Bolivar, Mo., to make-up a match against regional foe Harding on Thursday afternoon.
