A five-year-old Gladstone girl kidnapped Sunday night by a friend of the girl’s mother is now back with family. An Amber Alert has been canceled for Lili Justine High.

Police say she was taken by 38-year-old Tammi Lampkins, a friend of the girl’s mother, from a home located at 2703 NE 57th Terrace about 9:25 p.m. Sunday.

Lampkins was located Monday morning at a Northland apartment complex, but High was not with her.  

Lili’s father told police Lampkins stopped at his home Sunday evening. He says when he was briefly out of the room, Lampkins left with the girl.
