A man from a Kansas City suburb who died in a hit-and-run accident had endured the death of his wife and daughter in a drunken driving accident in 2011.

Kansas City police say 57-year-old Leroy A. Bronson of Belton died early Sunday when his motorcycle was hit by a pickup truck.

The driver of the truck fled on foot and has not been found.

 

In July 2011, Bronson’s wife, Diane K. Bronson, and their 11-year-old daughter, Anna, died after their car was hit by a vehicle going the wrong way on Interstate 435. The driver, Felix Solano-Gallardo, is serving 15 years in prison.
