A motorist who allegedly fled the scene of a serious crash in Livingston County last week has been arrested.

Sheriff Steve Cox says state troopers served a warrant on Chase Montgomery Gilgour, 20, of Chillicothe on charges of leaving the scene of an injury accident, and 2nd degree assault.

The investigation begain on the morning of march 29, at a one-car crash on Liv-233.

A person believed to be the passenger was found at the scene, extremely cold and seriously injured. The victim was taken to a Kansas City hospital for treatment.

Gilgour was released on $15 thousand bail bond pending formal arraignment May 2.
