The people were ushered out and the bomb-sniffing dogs were led in to the county courthouse in Atchison, Kansas Friday morning.
The Atchison County Courthouse was evacuated shortly after 8 a.m.
An officials at the district court office received a call from a man, who said he got a call from someone in Colorado, who claimed there were two pipe bombs in the courthouse.
Investigators with the sheriff’s office and the Kansas Highway Patrol searched the building using bomb-detecting dogs. Nothing was found and the courthouse reopened.
