Children Hurt In Broadside Collision

Three young children were among five people injured in a crash in Princeton, Missouri Sunday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the injuries were all minor.

Investigators say a truck ran a stop sign and hit a minivan on US-65 highway shortly after noon Sunday. The driver and passengers in the minivan were transported to the hospital.

The driver of the truck, Donnie Lund, 49, of Mercer, Missouri, was not hurt.

Dana Baker, 30, of Trenton, Cheyenne Baker, 4, Gasper Baker, 3, Patrick Behn, (uknown age) of Trenton and Christina Garner, 10, of Blakesburg, Iowa, each suffered what were described as minor injuries. All five were taken to Wright Memorial Hospital.
