Clouds in the Midland Empire prevented most of us from seeing it, but a meteor shower is underway, and if the skies clear, we could get quite a show.

The Lyrid meteor shower recurs in mid-April each year when the Earth passes through a trail of dusty debris from the Comet Thatcher. Humans have been watching Thatcher’s wake for at thousands of years.
