Is Tim Tebow heading to Kemper Arena? We haven’t heard from Tim, but the Kansas City Renegades have offered the former NFL star quarterback a contract.
The Renegades just launched their inaugural season in the Champions Professional Indoor Football League.
Owner Jeremy Ploeger issued a formal contract Tuesday after announcing his intentions on a CPIFL Executive Committee conference call.
“Kansas City is the top football town in America. Here in the heartland, we love Tim Tebow. We have heard from several of our fans and we have officially started that conversation by making an offer. Kansas City would love to see him play at Kemper Arena,” said Ploeger.
Should Tim Tebow choose to join the Renegades, he would play in the largest arena in the CPIFL, which has quickly become the top professional indoor football league in the country. Kemper Arena seats almost 20,000 fans. He would also play on a team with several former NFL players.
