Doris Ann Kerns, 69, St. Joseph, Missouri died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at her home.
She was born March 2, 1944 to Homer and Nancy Catron in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Doris married Gary W. Kerns, Sr. on March 4, 1966. He survives of the home.
She loved to play Bingo.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and one sister.
Survivors: husband; children, Judy Lown (Doug), Melinda Seiter (Bill), and Gary Kerns Jr. (Kittey); twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters, Martha Marriott and Shirley Brown (Bob); two brothers, Bill Catron (Barbara) and Roger Catron; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vernon R. Frazee
1943-2013
Vernon R. Frazee, 69, St. Joseph, Missouri died Tuesday, April 30, 2013.
He was born July 9, 1943 to Earnest and Opal (Roberts) Frazee.
Vernon married Janice Lee Morgan on August 1, 1969. She preceded him in death on November 30, 1992. After 20 years apart, Vernon has been happily reunited with the love of his life, his wife Janice.
Mr. Frazee served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam on the USS Princeton and was the owner of Frazee RV Center.
He was a Past Master of the Grandview Lodge No. 618, A.F. & A.M. Vernon was an avid Chiefs fan and loved fish fry’s. He was also a dedicated mushroom hunter and participated in Frazee’s Krazee’s, a camping club which he founded.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and sisters, Imojean Burns, Mary Fergerson, Delores Sproat, and Nina Hanshaw.
Survivors: sons, Brandon Frazee (Shanin), Brian Frazee (Brandie), and Jason R. Frazee, all of St. Joseph, Missouri; brother, Bud Frazee (Betty), St. Joseph, Missouri; sisters, Venita Johnson, St. Joseph, Missouri and Dorothy Bradbury (Brad), Kansas City, Missouri; nephew, JR Frazee (Derrine) and niece Brenda Meade (Mark), St. Joseph, Missouri; grandchildren, Caleb, Haylee, Leah, and Ella Frazee; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Howard E. “Tyke” Nagle
1921-2013
Howard E. “Tyke” Nagle, 91, St. Joseph, Missouri died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 12, 1921 to Clarence and Mae Nagle in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Mr. Nagle was a member of Brotherhood Lodge #269, A.F. & A.M.; Thirty-Second Degree Scottish Rite Mason; Moila Temple; Elk’s Lodge #2615, B.P.O.E.; and the Master Brewer’s Association.
Mr. Nagle served in the United States Army during World War II. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and was an avid and competitive golfer. Howard was a minor league baseball player who was baptized into the Christian faith and enjoyed many friendships and the care he received at Vintage Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his two wives, Shirley Dunbar and Mary Coil Wilson; parents; sisters, Helen “Teanse” Meadows, Dorothy Santry, and Nita Waller Bruner; brother, Raymond Nagle; and granddaughter, Kim.
Survivors: son, Steve Nagle (Robyn Rominger); step-daughters, Jennifer Kneib-Dixon (Tom), Janise Shaffer (Darren), and Jean Wade (Carl); step-son, Dean Wilson (Glenda); grandson, Robert Nagle; granddaughters, Maggie Nagle and Steffany Cooper; six step-grandsons; four step-granddaughters; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Services: 3:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
