Verlin Dean Vulgamott, 89, Maryville, Missouri, died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at his home in rural Maryville, Missouri.

Verlin was born December 15, 1923, in Graham, Missouri to Virgil and Vesta Rogers Vulgamott.

A 1941 graduate of Maryville High School, Verlin was a farmer.

He married Dorothy Porter Vulgamott on February 28, 1946, in Maryville, Missouri.

Verlin was a member of the Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville, Missouri.

Preceding Verlin in death were his parents, brother Carrol Vulgamott, and nephew James Carroll Vulgamott.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy Evelyn Vulgamott of their home, sons Russell (Janice) Vulgamott, White House, TX, Richard (Anita) Vulgamott, Spirit Lake, IA, Roger (Susan) Vulgamott, Topeka, KS, and daughter Kay (Surinder) Sahia, Cypress, Texas, ten grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.

There is no formal visitation but friends may call anytime at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville, Missouri with burial following in Miriam Cemetery, Maryville.

Memorials may be made to the Laura Street Baptist Church Building Fund in Verlin’s name.
