1941-2013

Leslie William Landreth, 71, Gladstone, Missouri died Friday, May 10, 2013 at a healthcare facility in Gladstone, Missouri.
He was born June 18, 1941 to Merle and Woneta (Crosby) Landreth in Topeka, Kansas.
Leslie enjoyed watching John Wayne movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents; baby sister, Ruby Darlene; and step-mother, Betty Landreth.
Survivors: brothers, Harry Landreth, Dearborn, Missouri, and Ralph Landreth, Lawrence, Kansas; sister, Woneta Landreth, Nevada, Missouri; and numerous cousins.

Etta Mae Dutton
1933-2013

Etta Mae (Cook) Dutton, 79, Independence, Missouri died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at her residence.
She was born July 10, 1933 to LeRoy and Dorothy (Julian) Wright.
Etta was a cake decorator at Dodds and Gunther’s Bakeries. She deeply loved her family and loved big dinners at her home.
Mrs. Dutton was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Tommy; and sisters, Sue and Becky.
Survivors: sons, Rev. Bill Cook (Sherry) and Jim Egerton (Becky); four grandchildren, Mark Cook (Amy), Laura Hoffmann (Jason), Chris Egerton (Yanelin), and Christine Brackenbury (Aaron); 12 great-grandchildren ; sisters, Carolyn Highfill (Carl) and Barbara Rainey; and brother, Dale Wright.
Services: 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 20, East Side Baptist Church, 19901 East 78 Hwy, Independence, MO 64057. The family will receive friends 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Monday, East Side Baptist Church.
