Norma R. Coil

Norma R. Coil, 85, St. Joseph, Missouri died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. She was born June 2, 1927 to Adam and Mae O’Neal in Island City, Missouri. Norma married Robert F. Coil on July 18, 1946. He survives of the home. She was a member of Island City Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post 359, and Eight and Forty Club. Norma enjoyed cooking for the family, playing bingo with her friends, loved quilting and flower gardening. She also provided childcare in her home for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and five sisters. Survivors: husband; daughters, Connie Trice (Richard), and Rita Garcia (Hector); grandsons, Robert Knapp (Michelle), Phillip Knapp (Shannon), and Alex Garcia; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and beloved dog Skipper.
