A truck hauling corn careened off an Atchison County highway near Tarkio Monday afternoon, sending the driver to the hospital and spilling a lot of corn.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 24-year-old Taylor Hurst of Tarkio was treated at Fairfax Hospital for moderate injuries.
The crash occurred at about 12:30 p.m. Monday.
The truck left the roadway along Route O, five miles northeast of Tarkio and rolled onto the driver’s side, spilling 925 bushels of corn onto the roadway.
