Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson has been sentenced to 30 days in jail for a probation violation in his domestic violence case.
Blame it on a sports tradition.
The former “Ochocinco” had reached a deal with prosecutors to get counseling and do community service instead of serving jail time, but the deal was pulled off the table when he angered the judge.
The judge’s mood turned sour when she asked Johnson if he was satisfied with his attorney, and Johnson responded by smacking his lawyer on the behind.
Johnson had previously missed several meetings with his probation officer.
