Gary Dean Weir, 71, Maryville, Missouri, died on Wednesday, June 26, 2013,
at Golden Living Center in Maryville.

Gary was born June 25, 1942, in Maryville, the son of the late Lloyd
D.”Bud” and Mary M. (Mitchell) Weir.

He was a graduate of Horace Mann High School, 1960. He had worked 24 years
for the City of Maryville from 1980-2004 as Sextan of the city’s cemetery,
Oak Hill.

Gary was a United States Army Veteran, serving in the 82nd Airborne, being
stationed at Fort Bragg from 1964-1966.

His memberships included the Tri-C American Legion Post # 464, Conception
Jct., Missouri of which he had been a member for fifty five years, and the
Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Surviving are four sons, Jeff Weir, Maitland, Missouri, Jason (Hillary)
Weir, Leon, Iowa, Jeremy Weir, Saint Joseph, Missouri, Anthony “Tony”
(fiance’ Kelly) Weir, Savannah, Missouri; sisters, Joyce (Patrick) Gaa,
Pflugerville, Texas, Mary K. (Marvin) Harr-Wiley, Maryville; eight
grandchildren, Blaine, Willym, Tanner, Daniel, Morgan, Peyton, Spencer,
Trevor; one great granddaughter, Kenzie; four nieces and nephews, Michelle,
Kirk, Chad, and Audra.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Price
Funeral Home, Maryville where the family will receive friends from 5-7 PM,
Monday, July 1. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, MO. with
Military Honors conducted by Tri-C American Legion Post #464.
