Zeta Christina Scroggie, 84, Parnell, Missouri, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Village Care Center, Maryville, Missouri.

Chris was born May 25, 1929 in Hopkins, Missouri. She was the daughter of John and Delma (Vinzant) Myers. A 1948 graduate of Hopkins High School, she married John William Scroggie May 6, 1950.

Mrs Scroggie was a member of the First Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Hopkins, Missouri.

She was a homemaker and a retired lineworker from Eveready Battery Plant.

Chris was preceded in death by her husband: John William, December 3, 1998 and her parents.

Survivors include her children: Gloria (Scott) Nightwine, Smithville, Missouri; Denise (Dick) Wallace, Hopkins, Missouri; Twila (Mark) Swinford, Maryville, Missouri; Ronald (Deanna) Scroggie, Parnell, Missouri; Carla (Dennis) Schmitz, Parnell, Missouri; twenty-one grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister: Florence Harris, Sedalia, Missouri and nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 6-8pm Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Price Funeral Home.
Funeral Services are 2pm Friday, July 12, 2013 at Price Funeral Home with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville.
