Robert Khaw Hnin Thang Zahau, 81, St. Joseph, Missouri died Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at his home.

He was born October 15, 1932 to Lal Thio and Hlawn Nei Cuai in Phunte, Burma.

He married Pari Zung Tin Par Tualawt. She survives of the home.

He was a member of the St. Joseph Chin Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rebecca M. Zahau; and six brothers and sisters.

Survivors: wife; daughter, Mary Zahau-Loehner (Doug), St. Joseph, Missouri; daughter, Snowem Horwath, Hamburg, Germany; son, Solomon Zahau, Germany; son, Joseph Zahau, St. Joseph, Missouri; daughter, Xena Zahau, St. Joseph, Missouri; grandchildren, Noah Van Lal Thang and Naomi Si Cin Mawi; one brother; and one sister.
