(Sanford, FL) — After nearly two weeks of emotional testimony, one of the most closely-watched criminal trials of the year is nearing an end. Former Florida neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman’s defense team is delivering closing arguments this morning. Zimmerman is accused of second-degree murder in last year’s shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Once the defense wraps up, the prosecution has one last chance to offer a rebuttal. After that, Zimmerman’s fate is in the hands of a six-person, all female jury.
