Msgt. John Coil, Jr. U.S.A.F. Ret., 88, St. Joseph, Missouri died Friday, July 12, 2013 at a local healthcare facility.
He was born December 18, 1924 in Wyeth, Missouri.
John was a graduate of Rosendale Highschool, class of 1943.
He married Imogene (Hurst). She preceded him in death.
Mr. Coil retired as a Master Seargent from the U.S. Airforce after 25 years. He served during WWII and had received six Bronze Stars.
Survivors: children, Tom Coil, Ronnie Coil, Connie Figg, Johnny Coil, Lonnie Coil, Donnie Coil, Tawny Dail and Tony Coil; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Bennett Lane Cemetery, Savannah, Missouri. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:00 P.M.
