A 32-year-old St Joseph man was charged this week with second-degree child endangerment after police say he shot a young boy in the face with an Airsoft pistol.
Aaron Blohm remains behind bars without bond on the misdemeanor charge after a judge ruled he was a danger to the victim.
Court documents accuse Blohm of shooting his girlfriend’s eight-year-old son in the face on July 12. A court affidavit says Blohm has used the weapon in the past to get the youngster’s attention by shooting over his head. Blohm is scheduled for arraignment on Friday.
