A teenager from Gower on a farm tractor was seriously hurt in a crash with a Mack truck Monday afternoon. The driver of the truck also suffered moderate injuries after the crash west of Plattsburg on Missouri highway 116.

The Missouri State Highway patrol said the tractor turned left off the highway just as the truck was trying to pass shortly after noon Monday.

Fifteen-year-old Jason Mink of Gower was taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. 47-year-old Jodie Downs of St Joseph was taken to Liberty hospital
