Back to school shoppers can save money this weekend during Missouri’s annual Back to School Sales Tax Holiday. The Missouri Department of Revenue has a long list of eligible school supplies. Also eligible are computers, including laptops and tablets, printers and other peripherals, and software. Here’s a list of those. Also covered is clothing.  For that list, check here.

Both Saint Joseph and Buchanan County are taking part in the sales tax holiday, so shoppers who buy eligible items here will save a total of 7.7 percent. The sales tax holiday begins at one minute after midnight Friday morning and continues through midnight Sunday.
