Charles Melvin Cook Jr. 83, of Cosby, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in Cosby, MO. He was born December 20, 1929 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Daisy and Charles Cook Sr. He served in the Army. He worked at Nu Way Rental. He was a Baptist.

Charles was preceded in death by wife, Lois Cook, parents, a grandson, Shaun Hoffman, brother, Ronnie Cook and two sisters, Joanne Cogdill and Louise. Survivors include, daughter, Tina Marie Hoffman of St. Joseph, MO, three sons, Mark Wayne Cook and Timmy Cook both of St. Joseph, MO and Jerry (Gladys) Cook of Cosby, MO, nine, grandchildren, several, great grandchildren, four brothers, Frank Cook, Cary Cook, Lonnie Cook, and Jimmie Cook, and a sister, Darlene Kirby of OK.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Pastor Rob Diamond officiating,
