Raymond Patrick Hernandez Jr. 47, of Saint Joseph, MO passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in Saint Joseph, MO. He was born September 1, 1965 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Genevieve “Jenny” and Raymond Hernandez Sr. He attended Lafayette high school. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Hernandez Sr., maternal grandparents, Joe & Natividad Torres and paternal grandparents John and Edna Hernandez.

Survivors include his mother, Genevieve “Jenny” Mozier and husband Donald of Saint Joseph, MO, 2 daughters, Crystal Hernandez of Platte City, MO, and Candy Saxton, a son, Brandon Nichols of St. Joseph, MO, three grandchildren; Camden Smith, Liberty Smith, and Kassady Smith, step son, Chris Nichols and step daughter, Amanda Nichols, three sisters, Marguerita Hernandez, Maria Hernandez and Julia McGuire all of St. Joseph, three step sisters, Tara Mozier of Seattle, WA, Felicia Mozier of Liberty, MO, and Talea Mozier of Shawnee Mission, Ks, two step brothers, Dallas Mozier of Alabama, and Steven Mozier of Maryville, MO, an uncle, Frank Hernandez, and an aunt, Mary Hernandez.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at 11:00 am at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Father Jeffery Jambon Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm, Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home with the family to receive friends until 8:00 PM. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery .
