JoAnn Pendleton
1942-2013

JoAnn Pendleton, 70, of Union Star, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

JoAnn was born on August 19, 1942 in St. Joseph, Missouri.

She graduated from the Convent of the Sacred Heart in 1960 and from Missouri Western State University in 1983. She later worked and retired from Neighborhood Housing Services.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Verl L. Pendleton, Sr.

Surviving family includes daughters, Barbara (Ron) Steiner and Susan (Bob) Bennett-Ward, aunt, Jacqueline (Donnie) Scott-Michaels, uncle, Bill Russell and numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and cousins.

Mrs. Pendleton has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.

A Celebration of Life will be held 7:00 PM Saturday at JoAnn’s Home.
