One year after landing on Mars, NASA officials, along with astronauts aboard the International Space Station celebrated. Engineers at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland also wanted to celebrate the rover’s successful landing.

So they counted off a musical moment from about 34 million miles away.
