Henry C. “H.C.” Schneider
1925-2013

Henry C. “H.C.” Schneider, passed on to his heavenly father August 11, 2013 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. He was 88 years old.

His beloved wife Doris preceded him in death in 2009.

He is survived by his daughter, Lori and son-in-law Brian Nilges; two grandsons, Joseph Calvin Nilges and Christopher Andrew Nilges; brother, Dale Schneider; several nieces and nephews.

Henry served in the CBI Theater during WWII and he was a proud veteran.

Henry retired from the Postal Service about 25 years ago. He was a member of the Avondale United Methodist Church, Kansas City, Missouri. He had been active at the Cosby Blue Lodge #600 A.F.& A.M., was a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason, member of the Moila Shrine and the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and brother, Nelson Schneider.

Graveside Services and Inurnment: 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family suggest memorial gifts be made to Avondale United Methodist Church. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
