On September 13, 2013 just after 10:00 AM the Platte County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call from a citizen that located a dead body near East Dye Store Road and Dye Store Road, in northern Platte County.

The Kansas City Missouri Metro Squad has been requested by the Platte County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the death investigation. The scene is being processed by the Kansas City Missouri Police Department Crime Scene Unit.

It is unknown at this time how long the body has been at the location it was discovered.
