A body found in Platte County Friday was identified as the body of a St Joseph woman.

The body was identified as 35-year-old Tangela A. Fisher by the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office over the weekend.

Authorities described Fisher as being from the St Joseph Area.  Her body was found near East Dye Store Road in northern Platte County Friday morning.    

Platte County authorities briefed the Kansas City Metro Squad Monday morning. The Metro Squad is currently investigating the death.  They are also trying to determine the exact cause of death.

Another body was found last week in Platte County along the Missouri River.  Authorities continue to seek assistance in identifying the man believed to be in his 20’s or 30’s.  The unknown male had a tattoo of a four-leaf clover on the lower right portion of his back along with the letters “Ca” on the lower left portion of his back.
