Zona was born August 22, 1929, in Aberdeen, Washington to Raleigh and Marvel (Wilson) Tibbetts.

A graduate of Napa California High School , Zona was a Cashier/Bookkeeper for the Auto Club of Southern California.

She married Merritt Wolfard on September 6, 1947, in Reno, Nevada.

Zona was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Preceding Zona in death were her husband Merritt (October 21, 1996), her parents, and a sister Betty Tibbetts.

Survivors include daughtersTrina (Larry) Checkwood, Dacula, Georgia, Tawnie (Donald) Coate, Burlington Junction, Missouri, Tanya (Scott) Alkire, Barnard, Missouri, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, two half sisters Jackie Johnson, Napa Valley, California and Bonnie Hough, State of Colorado.

Funeral Services will be 2:30 PM, Saturday, September 21, at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, 1721 South Munn Avenue, Maryville, with burial following in the Ohio Cemetery, Burlington Junction, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to SSM Hospice and Health Care Foundation, Maryville.
