A man accused of teaching two young children how to have sex waived his preliminary hearing Tuesday, and is scheduled for arraignment in Circuit Court October 8th.

Willis Jackson Hartman III is charged with Use of a Child in Sexual Performance, a Class-C felony.

A court affidavit says Hartman had care and custody of the children in March, when he allegedly “taught, encouraged and authorized” them to perform sexual intercourse.

The children were five and seven years old.

He is being held in the Buchanan County Jail under $50 thousand bond.
