For the second consecutive week, Northwest Missouri State senior Cassie Lowell was named the MIAA Women’s Golfer of the Week. Lowell was awarded the honor on Wednesday, in a release from the conference office.

At this week’s Bearcat Fall Classic, which was played at Northwest’s home course Mozingo Lake, Lowell carded two rounds in the 70’s to lead the team to a second place finish. Individually Lowell tied for third in a field that included 59 total players and nine teams. Lowell is from Concordia, Kan., and graduated from Concordia High School.

Northwest will conclude the fall schedule with the MIAA Preview Tournament which will be played on Oct. 21-22 at Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles, Mo. Lindenwood University is serving as the host this year.
