Robert “Bob” Thomas Young 77, of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away Tuesday October 8, 2013 at a Saint Joseph. He was born April 16, 1936 in Bedison, Missouri son of Leta & Thomas Young. He worked at Bob’s Skelly Service in the south side for many years, and also worked at Hausman Metal Works and was a courier with Association Couriers. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, helping people, he was a very generous person. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marie Young, his parents, a son, Steve Young, and a sister, Dorotha E. Lager. He is survived by 2 sons, Jeff (Cindy) Young, and Tony (Terri) Young both of St. Joseph, MO, a brother, Doyle Young of Phoenix, AZ, three sisters, Marjorie L. Parker of Maryville, MO, Martha Frazee of Kansas City, MO, and Betty Julson of FL, four grandchildren, Travis, Tommy, Tyler Young, and Amanda Pflugradt, and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Rupp Funeral Home. The fmaily will recieve friends from 10-11 am one hour prior to the service. He has been cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Bob Young memorial fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
