The brief thunderstorm that rumbled through Saint Joseph Friday night added just over a half-inch of moisture to what is already above-average precipitation for October. Official measurements from the National Weather Service show Saint Joseph received .56 of an inch of rain   It all fell between 9 and 10 pm.

So far this month we have received 2.04 inches of rain. Normal through the first 11 days of October is one inch.
