7:10 p.m.  Still no official word on what caused Saturday’s power outage. Services have been restored or power routed to customers affected by the outage until all repairs are completed.

Power outages have been reported across Buchanan County on Saturday. A spokesperson for KCP& L told St. Joseph Post that as many as 1800 customers across the county have

been affected. Work crews are busy fixing the problem or will attempt to route electricity to customers.  They have not determined what caused the outage or when it will be repaired. Stay tuned to Eagle Radio or check St. Joseph Post for more information as it becomes available.
