A southern Missouri man has been charged with 11 counts of burglary and theft in Greene County and is wanted in at least eight other Missouri counties for similar 
crimes.
Forty-six year-old Stacy Roy Eason of Houston, Mo., was charged Friday after being found Wednesday at a Springfield motel.
Prosecutors say Eason targets and preys on elderly women and has 10 felony convictions in Missouri and Texas.
Police say Eason preyed on his victims by knocking on their door and offering to do some kind of yard work or odd job for a few dollars, but stealing cash, jewelry or credit cards when they leave the room or become distracted.
Police say Eason told them he committed the crimes to support his drug habit.
