Linda Diane Parman, 61, Pickering, Missouri, died October 13, 2013, at her home in Pickering.
Linda was born November 26, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri to Lawrence and Dorothy Jewel Galloway Walter.
A graduate of North Kansas City High School, she also attended Northwest Missouri State University. A farmwife, Linda was a cook at Gray’s Restaurant, Maryville, for 20 years.
Linda and John Charles Parman were married July 10, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Linda was a member of the First Christian Church, Maryville, Dairy Farmers of America and was active in product promotions, Girl Scouts and was a leader for both Girl and Boy Scouts.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Walter (1998) and brother, David Walter (1999).
Linda is survived by her husband John Parman, of the home in Pickering; children: Mitch (Stephanie) Parman , Skidmore, Missouri and Michelle (Ryan) Parman-Gift, Hopkins, Missouri; brother, Mark (Carol) Walter, Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren: Xander, Journee and Tyller Parman; and her father, Lawrence Walter, Gladstone, Missouri.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.
Celebration of life will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 17th, at Price Funeral Home, with burial in Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville, Missouri.
