Tom Million, Sr., 79, St. Joseph, Missouri died Sunday, October 20, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 7, 1934 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Wilbur and Verna (Bell) Million.
Tom married Ramona Winifred Butler on December 5, 1953. She survives of the home.
Mr. Million joined the United States Navy at age 17 and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Wyatt Park Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Tom was employed with Pepsi Cola for 15 years and later retired from the St. Joseph School District.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Virgil and Wilbur “Bud” Million; sister, Mary Duguid; and great-grandson, Kyle Stiner.
Survivors: wife, Ramona; sons, Thomas Million, Jr. (Paulette) and Timothy Million; daughters, Diana Bokay (Tim) and Jean Johnson; sister, Betty Giannetta; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; great-great-grandson all of St. Joseph, Missouri; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Services: 1:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 5:30 P.M. Wednesday.
