The accused “spaghetti bandit” was arraigned Friday in Buchanan County court.

Stephen Stokes, 51, is charged with 2nd degree burglary for allegedly climbing a fire escape ladder into the St Joe Fire Department headquarters at 401 South Seventh Monday.

Authorities accuse him of helping himself to the firefighters’ spaghetti dinner while they were out on an emergency call.

He’s being held under ten thousand dollars bond pending a preliminary hearing November 8.
