The Salvation Army will begin accepting applications for Christmas assistance on Monday. The program provides Christmas dinners, clothing, and toys for families in need.

Applicants should bring current identification for all adults in the home, Social Security cards for all household members, and a Food Stamp letter or proof of income and bills.

Applications will be accepted at 602 Messanie from 9 to 11 am and 1 to 3 pm Monday through Friday. For more information call 232.5824.
