Smoke Free St Joe says they are closing in on the required number of signatures to put a clean-air ordinance on the ballot in St Joseph.

To that end, the organization staked out a few, select polling places during Tuesday’s voting.

The group said it’s possible they would reach the required number of signatures on its petitions by Tuesday to put an ordinance on the ballot.

 

On its Facebook page, the group announced it would be at the following polling places from 6:00-8:30 AM; 11:00 AM-1:00 PM; & 4:30-7:00 PM:
+ Wyatt Park Baptist Church
+ Ashland United Methodist Church
+ MO National Guard Armory
+ Wesley United Methodist Church
+ Wyatt Park Christian Church
+ Brookdale Presbyterian Church (4-7 PM Only)
