A St Joseph man was seriously hurt in a single-vehicle crash on I-29 Thursday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Albert McCulley, 31, lost control of his Pontiac Sunfire at the 33 mile marker at about 10:45 pm.

The vehicle left the highway, hit an embankment, and rolled over.

McCulley was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

A hospital spokeswoman reported McCulley’s condition as critical Friday morning.
