Norman Burton 82, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Friday November 15, 2013 at a Cameron, Missouri Hospital. He was born November 23, 1930 in Pattonsburg, Missouri son of Gladys & Kermit Burton. He married Carol Burton on July 2, 1964 and she survives of the home. He graduated from Pattonsburg High School, then served in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict leaving this service in 1963. He was a Sheet Metal Worker, and a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching TV especially Perry Mason. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, two daughter, Denise Kerns, and Deborah Hulett, and his brother, Jack Burton. He is survived by wife, Carol Burton of the home, two daughters Darlene (John) Grieme of St. Joseph, MO, and Melody (Tom) Hutson of Pittsburg, MO, and two sons, Mark (Linda) Hulett of Gillman City, MO, and Jack Burton of Cameron, MO, 20, grandchildren, 43, great grandchildren, and 7, great great grandchildren, his sister in law, Rosalee Burton, and sister, Phyllis (Richard) Weber of Kansas City, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home, with a Celebration of life to be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home.
