The world’s tallest, fastest water slide is slated to open next year in Kansas City. The exact details are being kept under wraps until construction is completed and the slide makes its big debut in May.
It’s called the Verrückt, which is German for insane.
Those in the know say the new attraction at Schlitterbahn will easily replace a 134-foot slide in Brazil as the world’s highest.
The Brazilian attraction moves sliders at more than 65 miles an hour, meaning Missouri’s Meg-A-Blaster slide — which features a near right-angle drop — will move them even faster.
The park opens May 23.
