Orville “Tag” Stacey, 64, St. Joseph, Missouri died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 30, 1948 to Orville and Ann (Lovda) Stacey in Chicago, Illinois.
He married Betty Stacey on August 5, 1972. She survives of the home.
Orville graduated from Central Methodist University, Class of 1972 and ILIFF School of Theology in 1975. He retired as a supervisor from the Children’s Abuse and Neglect Division of the Department of Family Services.
He was a lover of the musical and theatrical arts and was a devoted Cubs fan and Missouri Tigers fan, but his passion was his grandson.
Mr. Stacey was preceded in death by his father.
Additional Survivors: children, Matt Stacey (Nicole) and Debbie Stacey (Chip Anderson); grandson, Kaleb Purvis; and mother, Ann L. Stacey.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the American Red Cross. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
