A Live Stage Production Of A Radio Play Based On A Big-Screen Christmas Classic!

It's a wonderful lifeRobidoux Resident Theater takes a holiday film classic, turns it into a radio play, and then performs it on stage in a unique theater offering that opens Friday at the Robidoux Landing Playhouse.

“It’s a Wonderful Life,” the American holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast complete with live sound effects and old-time commercials.

With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

The script was adapted by Joe Landrey and based on the screenplay by Frances Goodrich, Albert Hackett, Frank Capra, and Jo Swerling.
