Randy J. Danner
1963-2013

Randy Joseph Danner, 50, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, December 05, 2013 at a local hospital.

Randy was born July 23, 1963 to Richard Sr. and Bonny (Simmons) Danner in St. Joseph. He attended Benton High School and later Vatterott College where he earned certificates in Drafting and Design.

He was a very faithful and active member of The Pentecostals of St. Joseph where he was the leader of the ministry at Abbey Woods Nursing Home, a driver for the bus ministry and played the bass for the praise team.

He loved music and also enjoyed watching football.

On February 6, 1988 he married Candie Ping, whom he met at his job at Heartland Hospital. He later worked for Chase Candy Company, Sara Lee and currently employed as a Security Officer for Guardsmark.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Danner Sr.; brother, Richard Danner Jr. and sister, Bonnie Gabriel.

Survivors include his wife Candie, of the home; his mother; two brothers, Ronald, of St. Joseph and Robert (Michelle) Danner, of Olathe, KS; three sisters, Linda (David) Dillon, of The Colony, TX, Shirley (Leon) Sanger, of Lacombe LA, and Beverly (Steve) Murphy, of St. Joseph; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved Chihuahua Jack.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Clark-Sampson Funeral Home with Pastor David Billingsley officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, prior to service. Mr. Danner will be cremated following services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Randy Danner Memorial Fund or The Pentecostals of St. Joseph.
