An investigation is underway into a Sunday accident that claimed the life of an 18-year-old in Laclede County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol Troy Parker of Lebanon, Mo., was driving a 1997 Ford 150 on Dunklin Road, 3 miles west of Lebanon, Mo. on Sunday.

Parker failed to stop for a railroad crossing and was hit by a train. Parker died at the scene.
